Generally speaking grass eating boys are increasing. Women tend to be demanded "outgoing" for job and even love. Recent women get the impression that they are strong. In fact that women pass strong and become manly. The reasons that women try to work same as men and sometime women take very big responsibilities of job and environment. Then women's bodies try to adapt their stresses. At the result of them, Such stressed women tend to use manly words and thinking become manly. Some of them broke their hormone balances and they change body systems so become having mustache. How women are exposed big stress!!

Women in Male Wears Exceed Men
I know, many people have some resistance against homosexual. Most people will frown upon gay or lesbian couples. However, almost all of Japanese are accepted the culture of male attire; moreover people even are interested and appealed to famous women and group in male attire. However, in each eras, the roles and meaning of male attire is changing. I show 3 examples of them, Yoshiko Kawashima and butlers cafes.
Yoshiko Kawashima was like Oriental Mata Hari. She was a Chinese (Manchu) princess and brought up in Japan. When Manchu went to ruin, she was sent to Japan to be an adopted daughter of Kawashima, prepare to rebuild Manchu and be named Yoshiko Kawashima. She announced she abandoned to be a woman and became a man. She worked for Japanese military as a spy during World War 2. Tragically, after WW2 she was on trial as a traitor and executed by Chinese government.
The reason why Yoshiko decided to be a man was self-defense. In youth, she was raped by her father-in-law and disappointed social weakness of women. To show off her proud, she behaved a serviceman.
Nowadays, cosplay is one of famous Japanese culture, and recent big male attire cosplay industry is butlers cafe. Staff of these cafes are mostly women in butlers costumes. They serve tea, coffee and food as if customers are princesses or masters. In this case, the meaning of female butlers are the target of this cafe is women. Women naturally have beautiful and graceful appearance, and women themselves have the best understanding about women. Customers don't have to be ashamed to order to "butlers". Moreover, the first butlers cafe was created by just a normal Japanese"OL".
Compared to these two issues, women are getting much power and influence day by day. A half century ago, women have no opportunity to get into society without any authority. However, recently women are creating new types of economic influence and movements. I wish I could see the future one day women would make a lot of new generations which men couldn't think of.

After the bubble economy has burst, deflation is a grave problem in Japan. This serious deflation effect not only the employment but also marriage rate and our life. The human problem research institute carried questionates. The targets were 18~50 years old single men and women. These questionates were about marriage obstacles, do you want to get married or not?, marriage's shortcomings advantages and more.
According to the human problem research institute's research, the 90% people said want to get married. A lot of people want to get married, but they weren't going to get married befere long so they just postpone their marrige. Looking at the each situations of working, regular employee and independent businessmen want to get married more strongly and non-regular employee and unemployed men want to get married much lesser. Also the ratio of recoginizing marrige advantage for non-regular and unemployed men was lower than regular employee men. Also the ratio of marrige motivation and marriage experience was declining from 1982 to 1990, howver from 1992 to 2002, declining this ratio stopped. The reason why it stopped was to enforce the Equal Employment Opportunity Law in 1986.
Marrige expenses is NO.1 obctacle for couple, also the problem which is connected to an occupation and job is NO.2 obstacle. NO.3 obstacle is to have own house. The most remarkble point is NO.2 reason. This became the second highest reason in 2002 to 2005. (Only women chose this reason to NO.2.) I guess it shows young people think the deterioration of employment and labor condition problem is as big as financial problem. It was different recoginition before 2000. The reason1 and 3 connected money so I guess to get married is difficult in bad financial condition.
As a result of these, business condition effects marrige rate and people mentaly. Men who had no financial confidence tend to avoid marrige. Of course unmarried women avoid unemployed men and non-regulary employee men for marrige partner.

Lolita complex
As you know, there are many Otaku ( geeks) in Japan. Especially there are a lot of people who has Lolita complex. Actually we can't say " When the word of Lolita began" exactly. However the beginning we magazines and about from 1980 it famous little by little and penetrate into our lives.
From the past steered system of householder and people think men exist to keep house and families also women exist to bear and bring up. This was ( and is ) included in bottom of marriage reasons. Therefore men thought they want to save good gens between only their own family so men have to not to allow women affair. So women have to be simple, obedient and young for men.
Actually customs which women because middle of teens married was existed around Kanto (area). Because young women have less risks to have babies than older ones. As there reasons young women ware chosen.

The back ground of declining birth rate in Japan, it connected to abolition of gender discrimination in late 20th. Surely, gender discrimination's are decreasing little by little in Japan but once women go back to home, they are restrained by housework, child care and eve nursing care again. P.McDonald said therefore Japan and Korea's birth rate are decreasing very much. Because both of there countries take householder system and they are big family.
Also in Japan living together before marriage and birth without marriage are less than Western. As a result birth rate equal marriage rate. But in recent years even couples who hope marriage wills are not deceasing but they tend to postpone it because of depression and social advancement of women. There were and are arranged marriage which was and is decided by parents are decreasing so they incur declining birth rate.
In the past,men have margin for economy but accompany deflation " Parasite" and " neat" who depend on economy to parents even they are adults are increasing. If we refer to especially men, they don't have enough income so they can't independent. So they are not worth as husband in marriage market.In the past if people choose arrange marriage women ware guaranteed positions and lives but modern men don't have there kinds of insurance so arranged marriage don't have meaning to do.
People can't make families if they have anxieties to the future. Therefore in such a bad situation, women can't have babies. It is too big event for women to live so we will start to think that won't carry dangerous risks it is similar to machinery of economy. So if state make a things of declining birth rate they have to try to improve economic problem.
In fact that I was said by person when I did job hunting. Taking child care rest is trouble for us ( company). There are such a person who has stupid thinking for gender women can't work comfortably. That's not good enough.

Summer HW
Hi, I'm Ai. I have to apologize you,first. Recently my house's family PC (Internet system ) didn't work so I couldn't do HW so I was late to write my introduction. I'm sorry about it.
I bought one book which was showed many kinds of results of interview by NHK. Do you remember it? We saw it in the last seminar class of the first term. So I'm reading and picking up materials which I need from the book.
Actually the result which it shows us there are answers which it is difficult for us to understand but that is NHK's examinations and NHK is education TV program so I can have confidence is it.
I bought one book which was showed many kinds of results of interview by NHK. Do you remember it? We saw it in the last seminar class of the first term. So I'm reading and picking up materials which I need from the book.

Education and Value
School education effects student's value. After Meiji government founded, some new systems like the establishment of prefectures in place of feudal domains carried out. Also Meiji goverment provided the law that showed that women should go to elementary school what we called 'Kokumin school' so going to elementary school became compulsory education for women.
However, this education was for growing 'good wife'. The education between men and women was really different. Women had much sewing and cooking classes than men. This policy of good wife education carried on the educational deliberation in Taisho and Showa period and the policy didn't chande until World War Ⅱ had finished. After WWⅡ, democratization in Japan was in effect and the government enacted the law which provided the equality between men and women. However even if enacting the law, the value of people wasn't changed and discrimination for women still existed.
In my opinion, discrimination for women was really heavy and women's position was low before the democratization. However, it suddenly changed after the WWⅡ. Even if the equality was leagally realized, the value of those people wasn't changed but education was changed. Student who firstly took this equal education couldn't accept the equality but children who took the equal edutcation and saw women's activity in media and somewhere had less discrimination. In these process, I guess Grass-eating boys have almost no discrimination for women.
